Pastor Buddy Champion
Buddy Champion is the Pastor of First Baptist Church Trussville, AL. He and Lynn Burdette Champion have been married for over twenty years. In his own words, “She’s the best thing about me. There are two things I want to be in life. First is to be a good husband to Lynn and a good daddy to my girls. Secondly, I want to be a leader in my church, for God to use me according to His purpose.”
An outdoorsman, Buddy often takes his girls fishing, hunting or any other activity that gets them outside. Buddy and Lynn have three daughters, Macie (19), Dailey (17) and Grace (15). He also enjoys putting his pilot’s license to use, flying whenever he gets the chance.
Pastor Buddy serves on the board of Trustees at Samford University, and has served on several committees through the years for the Alabama Baptist State Convention.
However, to those in the First Family here at FBCT (and those visiting), he’s just “Buddy.”
